McHugh's brother-in-law says in one of New Jersey said many of the passengers became ill from the rough seas. The ship is on its way to Bermuda after leaving Bayonne, New Jersey on Friday. A cruise ship battled rough seas Sunday as it made its way through the remnants of Hurricane Hermine on its voyage from New Jersey to Bermuda. The Royal Caribbean ship Anthem of the Seas is the same ship that incurred damage after it was caught up in a storm packing 122 mph winds off the coast of North Carolina in February. Four people were injured during that trip. On Sunday, the ship once again was caught up in rough seas and high winds. Robert McHugh, a New Jersey resident and passenger on the ship, posted a series of  videos from the ship on Twitter that leaves one reeling and feeling just a little nauseous. (MORE: Hermine a Coastal Flood, Erosion Menace in Virginia, Delmarva, New Jersey, Long Island, Connecticut Through Labor Day Weekend) In one video, McHugh's brother-in-law, Derek Beidermann also of New Jersey, said the rough conditions worsened early Sunday when the ship “started swaying a bit here" and noted that the sea swells were up to 40 feet and wind gusts were up to 90 knots, which roughly translates to 103 mph.
