The website of Mt Airy Presbyterian Church, formally known as Second English Presbyterian Church of Amwell. ...and welcome to the website of Mt. Airy Presbyterian Church. We worship 10:00 am each Sunday. To see where we are, click on "Location" --> What's an average Sunday morning like? We worship in a traditional Reformed framework: we gather joyfully, confess our sin and give thanks for forgiveness, hear the Word read & preached, sing, pray, then go out to live and serve as Christ's disciples. We will be worshiping in our sanctuary once again, on Sundays at 10am! In deciphering all of the information from the CDC and from the governing presbyteries, we ask that you please exercise three major cautions at this time. 1. Please wear face coverings at this time. 2. Pews have been taped off in order to maintain effective distance, please sit in pews that HAVE NOT been taped off. 3. Given the nature of COVID-19 we are not having coffee during our fellowship time after service. In addition, extra measures will be taken for the safety of our congregation, as antibacterial products (wash and wipes) will be on display and for your use as you walk into the sanctuary. Thank you for taking these precautions seriously to better protect not only ourselves but also our neighbors during this time. For those that still feel uncomfortable worshiping indoors with us at this time, Mt. Airy's doors never closed during this crisis. Our hope is when you feel comfortable you will worship with us, as Mt. Airy is always here for you. In the meantime call in via conference call or visit www.mtairychurchlive.com to worship with us remotely.

The English as a Second Language (ESL) ministry of Carriage Lane is designed to help adult internationals and immigrants learn to speak English and function more effectively in the United States. ESL classes are primarily for people who are fluent in other languages but who have limited knowledge of English. Some know little or no English, while others have studied English in their home countries. Many can read and write English, but they need practice speaking and interacting with others in English. ESL at Carriage Lane welcomes our new friends and neighbors from around the world! Since starting this ministry in 2005, over 500 students from more than 35 countries have joined us to learn English. Countries include: Argentina, Austria, Brazil, Chile, China, Colombia, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Ethiopia, France, Germany, Haiti, Honduras, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Kosovo, Laos, Lebanon, Macedonia, Mexico, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Peru, Puerto Rico, Romania, Russia, Thailand, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Vietnam. Students are welcome to begin participating at any time – we have open enrollment. Classes are organized by varying levels of English fluency: Beginner, Intermediate, High Intermediate, and Advanced. A devotional and a light snack are shared during each class. The classes are free; the only cost to students is the price of workbooks if they choose to purchase.
