Video best practices. Get your videos found by Google Search. Of the billions of Google searches done every day, many are looking for video content. Get your videos found by Google Search Of the billions of Google searches done every day, many are looking for video content. Following the best practices listed here (as well as our usual Webmaster Guidelines) can increase the likelihood that your videos will be returned in search results. Video results in Google Search appear both in combined Search results and in Video Search results. When a user clicks the video result they will be taken to your page, where they can watch your video. Block a video from Google Search results In order to expose a video in search results, Google must understand something about the video. Google can extract information about a video in the following ways: Google can crawl the video (if in a supported video encoding) and extract a thumbnail and preview. Google can also extract some limited meaning from the audio and video of the file. Google can extract information from the page hosting the video, including the page text and meta tags. Google can use structured data (VideoObject) or video sitemap associated with the video. YouTube content: YouTube videos are always crawlable. However it is still helpful if you provide a video sitemap or structured data to help Google find the embedded YouTube video on your page. Sitemaps and structured data also help you provide us additional information about the video. How, or if, your video shows up on search depends on how much information you provide to Google. Google requires two pieces of information to expose your video in search results: a thumbnail image and a link to the actual video file. However, the more information you provide, the better your search result experience.

HelpAnalysis and geoprocessingImage AnalystMotion Imagery Synopsis of the Image Analyst Extension Introduction to Full Motion Video Full Motion Video search in ArcGIS Pro Image Analyst geoprocessing tools Full Motion Video search in ArcGIS Pro Available with Image Analyst license. The Video Search tool enables large collections of video files to be searched and pertinent segments identified according to geographic location, a particular feature, and time. The result of a video search is a list of video files that can be sorted, and queued to the exact segment within the video file containing your search criteria, for example, the geographical extent of your search. These video segments can be exported as separate video files, complete with associated FMV-compliant metadata. The Video Search tool utilizes the metadata embedded in the FMV-compliant video file, such as the video frame coordinates and time stamp, to match it with your search criteria. Every video file, and portion of each video file, that meets your search criteria is identified in the results table with a specific beginning and ending time stamp. The identified video files can be added to the current map, and the segment meeting your search criteria can be clipped and saved as a separate FMV-compliant video file. The Video Search tool can refine your search through a collection of video files based on geographic location, features, or time interval. These search criteria are nested, meaning that all the conditions that you specify are applied to filter the search. For example, if you specify your search criteria by a selected feature within the extent of your current map display and having a specific time stamp range, only the video segments meeting all the conditions will be identified and loaded into the search results window.

Returns a collection of search results that match the query parameters specified in the API request. By default, a search result set identifies matching video, channel, and playlist resources, but you can also configure queries to only retrieve a specific type of resource. Quota impact: A call to this method has a quota cost of 100 units. The following table lists the parameters that this query supports. All of the parameters listed are query parameters. The part parameter specifies a comma-separated list of one or more search resource properties that the API response will include. Set the parameter value to snippet. Filters (specify 0 or 1 of the following parameters) This parameter can only be used in a properly authorized request, and it is intended exclusively for YouTube content partners. The forContentOwner parameter restricts the search to only retrieve videos owned by the content owner identified by the onBehalfOfContentOwner parameter. If forContentOwner is set to true, the request must also meet these requirements: The onBehalfOfContentOwner parameter is required. The user authorizing the request must be using an account linked to the specified content owner. The type parameter value must be set to video. None of the following other parameters can be set: videoDefinition, videoDimension, videoDuration, videoLicense, videoEmbeddable, videoSyndicated, videoType. This parameter can only be used in a properly authorized request. The forDeveloper parameter restricts the search to only retrieve videos uploaded via the developer's application or website. The API server uses the request's authorization credentials to identify the developer. The forDeveloper parameter can be used in conjunction with optional search parameters like the q parameter.
